I first discovered hula hooping when I started out on my fitness journey 6 years ago. I walked into the aerobics room at my gym and saw this big colorful hoop. I said to myself hmmm let me see what this is about. I had no idea there were weighted hoops at the time. I hooped and I sweated and I hooped and sweated then I started to dance with it and it was game over. My consistency and dedication was appreciated by my waist and it showed. Time went on and a beautiful daughter later, I incorporated pilates and resistance training into my regimen and created HulaFit DMV.
